About Me

I love people. I hold the strong belief that people are perfectly imperfect. They are beautiful and spectacular but can also become stuck, unhappy and unable to live a fulfilling life. I love to see growth and development and consider it a joy and privilege to journey with each one of my clients, who are all unique and full of potential.

I also love the outdoors, which I believe is therapy in itself. On weekends and free evenings you will find me walking, hiking and sun-hunting, preferably with my husband and some friends in tow.

I have 20 years experience working in the NGO sector and I enjoy working with teenagers, young adults and young parents. My mission has always been community - focussed, with the idea that we don't live in isolation, but are in fact one part of a whole. We can't just treat the individual, but the system in which they live, whether that be their immediate family or the broader community around them.

My primary areas of interest lie in emotional regulation, managing anxiety and depressive symptoms and grief support.

I hold a BPsych Equivalent (Hons) degree in Psychology from Cornerstone Institute and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa in 2021.
